OSC Tea Bar Reunion June 8th 2006

Met up with old buddies from OSC. Jonas was in London chilling at Bjorn's so decided to meet up at bar in Central London along with Sam.
Sam - wants something like my shoe (3 color adidas). Will be really appreciated if I send him a pair. I think 1 size bigger than mine (size 11?)
Bjorn - chillin at Brunel studying aerospace engineering. Wants to work in an engineering firm. Parents in New York, United Nations headquarters.
Michael - Bjorn's younger brother. Studying environmental biology at Queen Mary London.
Jonas - professional roller skating in Norway. Extremely interested in art, has own workshop.
Kay (Kwaku Gueye) - muslim, half senegal half ghana I believe. Chiller, studying with Bjorn at Brunel.

Imperial College Graduation Party

Monday 28th May party at Kensington Roof Gardens.
- Met Ezz Sinokrot from Jordan. Owns poultry farm in Jordan, supplies chickens to people who slaughter, etc. Interested in supply chain.
- Ming from Thailand. Owns logistics company supplying mailing services (something like a local FedEx or DHL)
- Gab also from Thailand owns a packaging company. Has sole rights for making Coca Cola in Thailand and company established by grandfather. Interested in investing in property in the UK.

Mariam sang to me!

Today, Mariam sang Monica, "For you I will" and it was so touching that I cried (I know I sound like a girl, but I don't care). Mariam, "you are my angel and I love you to bits!!!" I have someone for me in LIFE! Below are the lyrics.

Spoke to Mafaz Today

- Spoke to Mafaz today in Sharjah, UAE. Graduating soon inshallah with bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and hopes to find a job in UAE. Parents in Saudi Arabia hopes to retire to Sri Lanka soon to settle down. Brother is studying in Sri Lanka.

- Spoked to Farhan. Mentioned about Sheikh Fareed's lectures and listening to them on Ipod. I have to do this.

- Spoked to Omer Khan. 4+1 Program and then MBA inshallah. Graduating next year inshallah. Spoke to Omer Khawaja. Graduating next year inshallah. Mashallah has a beard. Spoke to Aman Khan. Is doing business in America and already has H-1 Visa. Spoke to Karim. Inshallah starting to work for Cisco Systems soon. Plans to attend friend's wedding in December and inshallah make it to my wedding.

- My baby was really depressed today, frustrated about the prolonged engagement and hates being away from me. I hate it as well, want to be with her. I only wish my package would have reached her today.. I hope it reaches her very soon, and I hope it cheers her up.

Victoria's Secrets

Yesterday I went shopping online with Mariam :) I bought her stuff from Victoria's Secret and she said THANK YOU! I am so happy to be with her and I can't wait to see her wear all those clothes. Total Bill = $272.41

Spoke to Brian yesterday from GIA. Apparently he was at some hot springs and he had gone to Song's (from GIA but can't remember) wedding in Korea with his girlfriend and Minji. Minji is apparently very busy working for some new diamond company. I heard that Shinji is going to get married to Adelin, that was quite shocking cos they just started seeing each other when I was at GIA. Shinji plans to go to Taiwan to see Brian in July.

Mariam was depressed today :(
Frustrated because she missed me and sounded really down. I wanted to lift her spirits up so I searched for something to buy her from Hamleys. She likes the following items, but I promised I won't buy it for her this time.

Went to watch Cricket WorldCup 2007 with Mushtaq to his friends house in Angel.

- Studies Business in City College, plans on getting a job, applied for 83 jobs -> 3 interviews.
- If job scene fails, go and do masters
- Interest in purchasing and merchandising positions for experience to get into Gem trade

2. Fayaz -> American Water Son
- American Water joint venture with firm in Spain

3. Welli -> studying Law after having done a couple of years in Sri Lanka
